Editing a Supademo

While the Supademo Editor is simple and intuitive for most folks to use without guidance, it also hosts a series of powerful features that we think you’ll love.

This guided showcase will walk through:

  • Chapters (lead forms, password gates, branching)
  • Hotspot Options - like adding multiple on one page, when to use each type of style, variations, designs, conditional branching, and default settings
  • Adding AI voiceovers or recording your own
  • Translating your Supademo instantly
  • Branding options like custom domains, logos, colors, or backgrounds
  • Adding animations like zoom effects and autoplay

✨ 3 tips and tricks from the Founder

Tip 1. Use chapters to reduce friction and set expectations Chapters are a great place to set expectations for viewers - like showing the number of expected steps (5 clicks) or time (2 mins) for the interactive demo. This implicitly lowers friction and increases engagement 🙏🏼
Tip 2. Customize hotspot designs and use variations Hotspots are not meant to be full of jargon or text - leave additional context for voiceovers! In addition, try to use your brand colors here and use variations in hotspots (callouts, pointers, area) to keep things interesting and engaging for viewers. PS - you can also add multiple hotspots to one page!
Tip 3. Align demo length based on context or stage We recommend creating a template or Supademos to use for different use cases or stages in the sales/marketing/onboarding funnel. A high-level product tour on the website should be UNDER 10 STEPS and be very high level. In contrast, a post-signup onboarding demo might be much more detail-oriented and up to 20 steps in length. For longer demos, we recommend turning off the step count from your hotspots to reduce potential friction / concerns viewers may have about the length of your demos.
